I'M Only a Polar Bear

Celine Rose Mariotti

I’m Only a Polar Bear

Gosh, why do people not care?
		about me, a Polar Bear,
I live in a cold, cold, place
I wish you could see my face
		I protect my young cubs,
but people I tend to snub,
For because you pollute the air
		way, down there,
And you caused this change in the climate,
The ice is melting up here,
		You’re ruining the atmosphere,
Give me my cold, cold place
		Don’t take away my space!
		The Arctic is my home
I do not want to roam
Why don’t you try to care?
		Don’t you know?
		God loves us Polar Bears!

this is so precious. GREAT poem on that wonderful polar bear. I sure do feel sorry for him losing his ice to float on.

very nice , if you don't mind a little constructive criticism , "for because " is not grammatically correct, use for or because but never both together.
