I'm On The Other Side

I’m on the other Side—of Noon—
Where the Light begins to Glow—
The River hums—a softer tune—
Than any Earth could know—

I’m waiting—by the Lilac bend—
Where Water dreams of Air—
And whispers tell me—at the End—
You’ll find me—lingering—there—

In Love—with You—I do remain—
Though Parted by the Tide—
The Current knows—my secret chain—
And pulls me—to your Side—

I look—through Eyes—not wholly mine—
Their Vision—half divine—
The Stream translates—your mortal Sign—
To meet—this Soul of Thine—

Down by the River—by the Sea—
Where Heaven kneels to Earth—
I’ll wait—till Time returns to Me—
And grants—our second Birth—
