I'M Not Yet Broken

I'm not perfect, Therefore I am normal. My heart gets broken, Therefore I am not heartless. I still feel pain, Therefore I am not numb. I still smile, Therefore I am not broken. My tears occasionally fall, Therefore I feel. I still have a reflection, Therefore I am still here. I look around and see no one, Therefore I'm still alone.. People still speak of true love, Therefore my reality is gone. Now everyone wants their own fairy tale, But some stop chasing and settle for tears, heartbreak, and despair
