I'm Not Through

I’ve fewer days ahead of me
than those I have been blessed to see.
Time moves along so rapidly.

God still has plans for me, I know.
He’s guiding me as to and fro
I move through life with goals in tow.

Thanks, Jan. Over the years, I have known several people who retired~~and then did nothing. I remember reading their obituaries in the local paper shortly after they retired!

I remember my old boss was due to retire and I said “ I can’t wait to retire” he stopped me saying “ Don’t wish your life away, I’ve less it front of me now” now retired myself I often think of it and realise the wisdom of his words. Keep going Janice, it’s not over till it’s over. Hope you’re keeping well. Tom

when my hubby worked in the uk so many of his colleagues passed away within 6 months of retiring - a sobering thought!
