I'M Not Looking For Man's Approval But God's
I’m Not Here To Seek The Approval Of Man But Of God!
I don’t pay much attention
to the latest poll numbers.
Nor do I march to the beat
of this world’s “drummers.”
I don’t look for the “approval”
of what the “majority” might say.
I’ve made up my mind to seek
God’s righteous ways!
If many of the people
say something is “o.k.”
I’m going to take a second look
at what God has to say!
This world didn’t create me
and it surely doesn’t know...
What I need is for God’s peace
and love to enrich my soul!
Though there may be a thousand
that say something is “cool.”
I’m going to be in trouble
if I disobey God’s rules!
Here I am today... I know and have truly decided.
Everything I need….
My God has already provided!
The approval of Jesus Christ
is the only one that I need!
I will follow HIS direction.
Wherever he might lead!
The message of the cross...
will gladly bear it!
God’s message of salvation...
I will gladly share it!
Jesus is…. And shall always be
there for you and me!
How I long to be with my lord…
For all of eternity!
