I'M No Longer There

I'm No Longer There

 I journeyed through darkness and found your heart
 You provided a shelter miles apart
 From sadness, lonliness, sorrow and pain
 Then you left without warning ..I am lost once again.
 But your memory lingers
 Reminding me of true love
 And I will cherish the moments ...and know...
 You were sent from above
 It was a fleeting romance
 Left an ache in my soul
 But I'd give my gems of yesterday
 Just for a moment to know
 What your heart could not whisper
 What your soul could not share
 I walked you through my shadow
 You failed to realise.. I am no longer there.
