Every day is a new day To reach for the white flames, That burn in the distant night sky. Make something possible Out of what may seem impossible. I'm not trying to assimilate, Just learning how to be myself. I may reflect you in a lot of ways, Stare in a mirror, do you see my face? Everyone has their own DNA. The details that make an individual, Are unique in every way. I'm me and you're you I refuse to bend over for you. No one can change me, But anyone can embrace me. I am free to be me, And that is all I want to be.
