I'M Many Names-W

I am never going to accomplish the fame

Sweet of the rose is in the name it bears

Things are not only what they really claim.

Not to be writ on a roster I have a name

It has been given by god and my parents

I am never going to accomplish the fame.

My neighbours have given me a name

By my appearance, walking in the airs

But things are not only what they claim

My enemies have given me a name

Judging me by corporate demeanours

I am never going to accomplish the fame.

I have names by vices, virtues and blame

Given by my love, life, work and death

But things are not only what they claim.

I am never going to accomplish the fame.

Dr Mehta...Congratulations for your poetic achievement in this contest....in my personal opinion, the poem is much more worthy than the contest judges felt....I liked the philosophy and I liked the skilled rhyming...I enjoyed reading it several times and digesting it......sincerely...Syd
