I'M Just One Man

I’m just one man what can I do
The thoughts that I have lead me to you
As I feel remorse for what I put you through
I’ll always love you this much is true.

I’m just one man looking for something more
As one window closes it opens a door
Sometimes the four walls just close in
I need a new start but can’t see where to begin.

I’m just one man that is subject to change
My course is uncertain the future seems strange
Still I take the first step trying to get it right
Welcome the sunshine feel the warmth of its light.

I’m just one man sometimes I wanted so much
I’m fading away seems I’m losing my touch
You can’t always get all that you want
Disappointment and sadness continue to haunt.

I’m just one man what difference can I make
I get so caught up in all my mistakes
I simply can’t give up I don’t know how
The past starts to fade today becomes now.

I’m just one man with so many dreams
But when they arrive they are not what they seem
I just need to hold on and try to believe
And hope that they stay yet so many leave.
