I'm just me

I'm real, no need to make a deal,
A best friend for life
A queen of hearts will be his wife
Innocence never lost
You before me despite the cost
Childlike but not a fool
Class act welcome to school
Listen and learn
It's your choice
The truth discern
Like it or not, an ongoing question
Is life really fair?
Regardless I'm still alive
Though you may not care
