I'M Just a Kid Trying To Make It

What am I suppose to do
When I have know mom there
I try so hard to keep my head up, my model is to never give up
What am I suppose to do
When I have know dad there feels any day my heart will tear
17 young trying to make it in life
Don't want to be a failer
So I try and try
My mind gets deep, but I don't know how to speak it
School is where I want to be
Sometimes I don't see that in me
I want to be somebody in life
No one seem to understand
Poeple try to put me down
But still I stand!

be careful with spelling and grammar errors, just a heads up it makes for a sloppy pen. no would be the word instead of know. I really like the imagery here. I just thought you would want an honest answer I am not trying to put your work down. I only ask the same for my own work as well.

Kymberlee - One of the most open and honest poems I have ever read - Hold your head high and let these words be etched into your heart "You are a true blessing to this earth" Often people put others down because that is the only way they can elevate themselves - I will hold you in my prayers - God Bless

Kimberlee this is a very heartfelt write, indeed I see the subject of the read as a survivor, one who is able to accomplish all of her desires, as long as she remembers to believe that with GOD all things are possible and without Him in our lives we can do nothing... There are a few typos in the read however this is a powerful write. I thank you for sharing it. God's Love and Many Blessings, Always, Adell
