I'M In Love

I am in love. I’m pretty sure now. I keep getting lost in the labyrinths of my mind, thinking about you, wondering how to connect with you again. I stop working at times, trying hard not to fall for you even more every single day. But I know I’m a gone case, totally bowled over by you. Our relationship defies all norms, I hear you around me all the time, looking deeper into your meaning of this new feeling I’ve got. I stop in my tracks when I read something that reminds me of our inseparable bond. No one can tear us apart. Not now, not ever. We are born to be together. Yes, I’m totally in love with you. It’s a wonderful thing, this love, it has changed me. Our kinship will bloom and evolve into something beautiful, I got a gut feeling about us. Let me introduce you to my friends so that they too may fall in love with you. Yes, I’m in love… …with words. 06.26.2021

Killer ending there, Jo. Perfect rendering of how love gets twisted into all sorts of odd shapes by our tortured and torturing minds. G.L. in the contest, Gershon

When we are in love, either with a person, a thing, or an idea, we become invincible. We become doubly powerful when we are in love with words and especially when words fall in love with our pen as they did here with you, dearest Jo! Hugs . Good luck!
