I'M Going Outside

I'm going outside
to get my gardens prepared,
I'm getting rid of old flower stems
so the soil can be aired.

I'm going outside
on this cool March day,
tired of sitting inside
can't keep boredom at bay.

I'm going outside
to just look around,
find things I can do
maybe rake the leaves from the ground.

I'm going outside
so the soil can be aired,
I'm getting rid of old flower stems
to get my gardens prepared.
