I'm Glad I Am A Friend of You

I'm glad I am a friend of you
Am interested in all you do
Always want the best for you
For all your friends and family too

Encourage your hobbies and your work
Cheer for you, not to be a jerk
If you think I'm not, it's not a quirk
As a friend of yours, it's just a perk

I'm grateful that you are my friend 
On that fact you may depend
I will not sway and will not bend
Will be your friend until the end
