Im Dreaming of You
Last night I dreamt
What I’ve so longed to do
We made love and spoke of
How all our dreams would come true
You undressed and impressed
With all the things that you knew
Even when I’m not dreaming
I’m dreaming of you
It’s not sunshine and roses
When I open my eyes
Just another long day
Without you by my side
The pain comes and then goes
Into my heart to reside
I’ve wanted you forever
Will I see you tonight
Even when I’m not dreaming
I’m dreaming of you
I wake up and that’s when
My heartaches come true
I’ve daydreamed of how things
Could be since high school
Even when I’m not dreaming
