I'M Done!

Just tell me if you’re bored with me
Don’t keep me hanging on
I’m a big girl now, and know the score
I’ll cope when you are gone

Just tell me if you don’t like the way
I seem to have grown so fond
So quick, of you, are you scared
Of making such a bond?

Just tell me, if you’d rather just stay friends
And just go for that weekly beer
phone or text once in a while
Just pleeese ! just make it clear

Just tell me for heavens sake 
Don’t mess with my emotions
Turning hot and cold on me
Only confuses all the notions

Oh forget it, don’t tell me!
I’ll tell you how it is
I’m a big girl now, and know the score
I’m done with your apathetic idiosis !!!

This was great! I loved the last stanza. i wish i had finally said that to my ex wife. It is so hard when we cannot figure out the other persons feelings and what they expect from a relationship or friendship. This was a great write.

It seems many of us need affirmation, Allie. Fellas that run "hot and cold" can drive us bonkers. Don't understand why some take pleasure in messing with our emotions. If you have the strength to walk away, you're a step ahead of most of us. Good for you! Your message comes through loud and clear. patience is a virtue...blah blah blah... keep ur chin up...blah blah blah... everything will be ok ;)... <---speech of the century... lol sry... i just dont have much advice when it comes to dating... nvr quite seems to work out the way i see it in my head : /... i know exactly how u feel here tho
