I'M Different

I was born, as I should be

but you ask, what is wrong with me

nothing is wrong, but they do not agree

I am different.

They use the bible, to their demise

people like me, they despise

when will they open their bitter eyes

I am different.

I am normal, though not the same

why point a finger, and place the blame

stop calling me that, I have a name

I am different.

Why don't you love me, what did I do

I am still me, and I'm part of you

but I guess I will leave if you want me to

I am different.

People do not get it, they do not understand

I am being me, this was not the plan

we were made by the same, you know "The Man"

I am different.

This poem as a lot others I write, are not about me, but rather just a voice for those who need it. Some are just imagination, and other are things about my life. I hope you enjoy
