I'M Crushing On You

Sat still, with eyes gazing at the mob of young men It's him! No wonder, he couldn't escape my eyes An edgy stalker, tuning a song in reprise A feel, i couldn't evoke, still to no avail I sit down to pen. Writing down to tell him all my secret fantasies and visions, Starting with his machismo and that long lovely lashes, His towering psychique, couldn't stop with this, as much more flashes, Highly upright to tell, you are my infinity of divisions. With the chill, running down my spine, I called on my courage, walking towards him, to find him ringed by those pretty girls, fit and slim, With the complex of imperfection, I unhanded the paper with a whine. Weeping in agony, holding the fear of being neglected, lamenting about the timid me, I let go all my feelings, badly wanting a spree, With a lump in my throat , sad and dejected. With a steady heart, i stepped out, Spotting him walking towards me on the pathway My heart pounded a thousand times faster, while i still pray, Being desperate for that one eye contact, Oh! I would just blackout. While about we cross each other, he just thew me a smile, Heavenly so was that, like an angel falling from above Boom! that intense encounter, the deep taste of first love, With my pen adding up one more fantasy of walking down the wedding Aisle Date: 15/04/2019 Name of the contest: I'm crushing on you Name of the sponser: Julie Leigh Rodeheaver
