I'M Confused

How can I have met a perfect stranger where we both connected with on a outside world of loneliness
There you stand just as confused as I am about what just happened
The heavenly personality overshadowed the scars and damaged heart that has been tormented for a very long time
Now we sit here looking at each other as complete strangers not realizing what just happened
Did both our realities happened to be a figment of the imagination because of the red wine
Something was birth to happen since the beginning of time
I watch you and you watch me
Then the dead silence of the aftershock settles in and the reality is
This was just a fling.
