Im Caught In the Eye of the Storm

The gusts are picking up moving through the trees It’s getting darker by the minute I feel your cool breeze It’s cloudy and the light turns to dark I’m mesmerized by your heart but still hear your thunderous hark I see you changing right in front of me into a different form But it doesn’t matter now I’m caught in the eye of the storm The water in your eyes falls like rain The connection to you is holding me in your tempest chain I batten down my hatches but it’s to late I’ve been overcome with the winds of fate I see you changing right in front of me into a different form But it doesn’t matter now I’m caught in the eye of the storm I see the lighting storm in your soul because it’s a pure source I try to stop it with a dam but its bursts through with nature’s force I accept you for yourself knowing the hurricane will grow I just embrace you for it and let the waters over flow I see you changing right in front of me into a different form But it doesn’t matter now I’m caught in the eye of the storm Inspired by hurricane Irene
