Cory Long Poet Rhyme

I'M Bored With School

I have been going to school now for 6 years,
I get up every morning and know what I am doing,
School is on the agenda again.
Instead of working and making a living, 
I am taking test after test, 
My life is all about making the grade.
Every day it is the same,
sitting in class is just to much 
reading a 100 pages of a dry book man it is boring.
Then there is Math the one subject I struggle at,
but am told I need to pass it if I want to graduate.
I often wonder why do I put myself through all the stress and anxiety,
of going to school?
 thinking that if things don't change soon
I'm not sure how much more I can endear.
 I am bored with not knowing what lies ahead for me.

Carol Eastman April 29, 2011 at 8:41 AM Good write... I have epilepsy and it took 12 1/2 years to finish my degree...But I simply would not quit... I became a Chemist and was able to feed and protect my family for 30 years... Epilepsy kept trying to destroy me... But I never gave up... It is worth it... Never give up!

I read all my entries at judging time about three times or more so will judge after my hubby and I return from Italy.. end of May .. am sure will be pleasantly surprised... good luck in Nette's contest too.. just read her contest rules to see the setup.. this is what I did and the 70's were the greatest time for me luv..
