Notes About The Poem

Don't you just hate it when everything is going along nice and then some little something is either said or happens that throws a shadow over the whole thing. Well according to Murphy's Law if it can happen it will. I try to look at it this way - Satan just plain hates me but that just means I'm in good company. Sooooooo Ha Ha Ha and praise The Lord. See, if you start concentrating on the goodness of God and try to sing His praises you start to feel better. It doesn't make your problems disappear but you do feel better.

I'M Allegic To Upset

I'm allergic to upset.
Can't figure what it serves.
My temper flares, my pulse rate soars,
And messes with my nerves.

I'm allergic to upset.
Can't see what good it brings.
It ties my stomach up in knots,
And 'round my gills I'm green.

Today I won't get upset.
Won't let in chagrin.
I'll deal with all things as they come,
And strive for peace within.

I love the lord. I joke and get mad at him. I had to learn it, listen for it find it. And yes, he wants me to praise it. And at times I do. Algorythem has nothing on God. But sometimes He uses it. It's a little taste of heaven like all other inventions are. But I'm also a litttle upset. He's testing me.
