I'M Afraid To Go To Church

I'm afraid to go to church
for fear of what they'll say.
What if I don't know the words
to join in as they pray? 

I'm afraid to go to church 
because I fear they'll know.
I worry that my ignorance
is all that's going to show.

I'm afraid to go to church
although I'm not sure why.
I think about it every week
but yet I never try.

I want to go to church.
I'm just so dang afraid.
I crave to enter the house of God
and share the life we've made.
