'i'M a Soldier'
I'm a soldier, a warrior, samurai, viking
I look up to the heavens and I can summon lightning
Me against my illness, I simply cannot fail
If i call myself a leader then I cannot get derailed
Haters talk the talk but they can't walk in our shoes
Ill mental health is something that we did not choose
I admire my peers who decide to fight back
Fighting is the answer, it gets you back on track
Depression is awful it causes us to blink
It corrupts our mind and dictates the way we think
When you listen to my words I want you to be inspired
Self belief and hard work are the two things that are required
My words inspire they also motivate
I hope that I'm the reason for your sound mental state
To me Depression is like cancer of the mind
Mentally when we suffer, we find that we can fall behind
Recovery is glorious
Depression is notorious
In the end well be victorious
I have one piece of advice to give you
Fight for your life and your inner strength will help you through
