I'M a Parkinsonian

I'm a Parkinsonian > ================== > > I'm a Pakinsonian > There is little more to say. > It has a powerful hold on me > In it's sinister, painful way. > You wake up in the morning > The joints are tired and weak > You struggle to get out of bed > To walk is all you seek. > The days go by so slowly > You try to keep the pace > But everything you try to do > Slaps you in the face. > Your body is just a shadow > Of what it used to be. > You seek to live a normal life > Not a life from which you flee. > But God has chosen you to do > His work amongst the ill > To tell all who care to hear > That it is his sacred will > That there will be a cure some day > And our hearts will fill with joy > And no longer will we shake with fear > No longer can it destroy > The lives of those who we hold dear > God saved each girl and boy. > So don't lose faith > But hold on tight > We'll beat this dreaded foe > We will surely win the fight. > > End
