I'M a Mess

Even after three years of being together, I still wonder why he's with me.
With his golden hair and steel grey eyes that somehow make me feel alive,
He's so perfect, and I wonder what I did in this life to deserve a love such as his.
It's so hard to just dismiss the fact that he loves me, and I don't know why.
I see his face every day when I wake up.
He sleeps so peacefully, I wonder what he dreams about, and what he thinks about,
When he's not with me.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel like he deserves someone better than the mess that I am.
For he is he,
And I am me.
