I’m a Drone, Angel of Death

Revenge is mine (Inspired by the war in Ukraine) My homeland is ablaze below I’m watching from above Invading wolf packs steal the show It’s death I’m speaking of They fill the space in endless stream No end to foreign horde One cannot wake from ugly dream Of blood and gore, oh, Lord I am a drone, men put me forth The shield of the oppressed Avenging sword and ire of God On never-ending quest Above the battle is my path Sad eagle in the cloud Revenge the blood, unfurling wrath I hunt invaders’ crowd I fly elusive and unseen My only mate is wind And eyes are casting glance that’s mean With missiles to be pinned Revenge that’s personally yours Alive, but not for long A lighting strike comes from above To see the villain gone They have no time to understand It’s done with brightest flash Befalling darkness reach is grand When anger warps to ash For crying orphans, homes gone And land which they have raped For moms and kids becoming pawn Who died without escape Revenge is mine, I spawn demise As judge and firing squad If raised the sword, by sword he dies Azrael’s lighting rod Above the battle, angel soars On duty, day and night Victorious by every score Leave nothing of foe’s might They can’t escape the heaven’s wrath The screens reflect it all The missile goes the chosen path Wherever glance may fall The Book of Life is where I keep Who lives and who is gone I only judge the evil creeps For rest no judgment drawn The one who’s guiding my right hand He is no superman My bro, in our common stand Divine trigger man At end of day, he guides me home To prep for next combat And when he gets wife on the phone No war in their chat April 17, 2022
