I...Love...You

there are three words im afraid to say
i...love...you
there are three words i long to say
i...love...you
there are three words burning my skin
i...love...you
there is a lonely man waiting to here them
i...love...you
im afraid of your reaction when i say
i...love...you
so i hide my emotion and wait for the day
when i get up the courage to write you a note
three simple words is all i wrote
i...love...you
with no hesitation you pick it up
you read the note then look up
i love you too 
is all you say with your smile shining through the darkness.
