Illusions

Can I tell the times
Or count how many little good-byes

Well we try to say we know what is love
Then once we fail, swear it wasn't from above

In the still of a tear drop down
When you look up I'll still be around

But not for you; no not even for a minute
There's no need to feel obliged why are you still grinning

So yeah, there's a chance you may hate me one day
But lets be honest that day already came

       So far and beyond
       I'll give you my all
I'm not there to take the call
So I feel the need to stall
       Come one, come all
       Ain't love a ball
That flies up and never drops
       Ain't we had enough
Of saying we know anything anymore
