Illusions

there you were
sunlight
brought you back to me
like yesterday

afternoons
we'd share a spoon
seldom thoughts
of tomorrow loom

I was there
when you failed to sleep
I held you
Right next to me

After all
we adored your fall
summer fields
and winter chills

hope is leaving
quick and fast
I'm all you need
to make it last

usually
i allude to you
when i'm not
happily

There you were
like yesterday
satisfy
my addiction

saturdays
brought you
back to me
sweet misery

hope is leaving
quick and fast
I'm all you need
to make it last
