Illusion of Life

It’s a silent gaze
Into an eternal nothingness
Finding means and ways
To the end of the endlessness
To the conclusion never to arrive
To an answer never to be defined
But looped into a web of emotions
Spinned by chaos and confusion.

Nothing lasts forever
Not love, nor pain or war
It’s only a lifetime of suffering
In a world of weird illusion
Illusion of purpose, illusion of reason
Illusion of hope in the darkest prison
And while we stay in that state of trance
Life passes by like just in a glance
