Illusion

I see you
as you talk to him
or as I see you
argue until the end

I stand here
seeing the whole thing
thinking it was my fault
for destroying a being

I ever intended
for you to fight
it was my fault
it's not a lie

I had to get her
to come back home
I hated you guys fighting
I hated to know

that you guys blamed
yourselves, and it hurt me
only in a way
that made my life living hell
