Illusion
Touch the threads of my illusion,
Let’s taste the flavor and pretend;
That we are hidden in seclusion,
With words we speak that know no end.
Sing a song of sunlit days,
And sip the taste of heaven’s wine;
See a mist through noonday’s haze,
Forget the tunes that hinder time.
Take my hand and help me see,
Joy that mingles with light;
Break the chains to set me free,
And clear a mist that blinds my sight.
Close your eyes slip into sleep;
Time to dream with peace of mind.
Drift into forever, fathom the deep,
Arms of rest are always kind.
