Illegal Hero

You saved that little 6 year old
From a predator whose soul had been sold
One so wicked to his core
Who knows what he had in store

But you came to her rescue
You knew exactly what to do
You didn't even need to think
For you were off in a blink

You really changed a part of my mind
And the troubles in immigration that we find
I’m just glad that you were here
For you are an American from what I hear

Actions that not only saved a little girl
But maybe helped this Country’s flag unfurl
That spirit, that breath of what’s right
So that for your own freedom you won’t have to fight

Thank You!
