I'Ll Take a Bowl of That
Such eloquent words expressed on the screen
For lovers, for dreamers, for those needing verse
They offer up hope and may even bring tears
But satisfy, yes, they wet well the thirst
The many I read and not comment of, too
Are generous, they’re hopeful, inspiring and such
I’ll always come back to the soup bowl that’s filled
With words from the hearts of the many that touch
For I know that they’ll help me get through my dull day
They’ll inspire my many actions and the words that I say
