I'Ll Make My Way

Ill amount to something
Unlike you say
You see my father
I’ll make my way

I’m not the same
I’m different from you
I know you cant see it
But it’s the truth

You insist I’m wrong
And your always right
But I’ll be the one
Who makes it day through night

Punish me how you please
I’ll hold on longer
Yell and scream
It makes me stronger

Hit me kick me
My dreams will stay
I’ll hold them forever
No matter what you say

You can tell me I’m stupid
You can tell me I’m dumb
But you can never make me forget
Where I’m from

I’ll accomplish so much
My dreams will come true
I can’t do it?
Well I guess I’ll show you

From the age of
Four my dreams to sing
I’ll make it happen
And become something

You say I lie
You say I’m lazy
You throw me against the wall
And tell me I’m crazy

You scream and cuss
Punch and slap
I’ll forget it all
When I wake from this nap

I open my eyes
And see the ceiling
In my left arm
I have no feeling

I see my face
It’s a shame
I start to cry
But your to blame

I live my life
From day to day
Exactly like this
But it’s okay

I’ll amount to something
Unlike you say
You see my father
I’ll make my own way

a childs dream can not be taken away for god put it into your mind, and that's where it will stay.
