Ill Get To Heaven

I'll get to Heaven,
I am not really bad,
I go to church on Sunday's
I've been going since a lad.
I'm in the church choir,
I always pay my tithe,
I'll get into Heaven
I don't tell no lies.
And when it comes to charity,
You bet that I'll be there,
You see I'm really good that way,
I always pay my share.
I know the Ten Commandments,
I know them off by heart,
I'll get into Heaven
You see I am quite smart.
At that time I heard a voice
In me so clearly say,
You'll never get into Heaven,
No, not that way.
No man can ever buy or earn
What God, Has freely given,
Open up your ears
Open them and listen.
Take Jesus as Your Saviour,
Repent and truly see
That getting into Heaven
Is really down to Me.

G'day ??? Now that's an odd enough name. Questions, and perhaps a quest? Great write, "open up your ears"...for sure what you've written could open one's mind and heart to devine possibilities. There most likely isn't a cash collection toll gate on this path. Best to you and yours...God's blessings...Mikki
