I went to the local bar in town ... 'feelin really down 
        down on my luck now ...   hard to make a buck now 
So Mr. Bartender please pour me a shot
         I wanna drown my troubles today
Mr. Bartender give me what you got
          I wanna drink my sorrows away 
 I "ll feel much better tomorrow 
Yeah I'll feel much better tomorrow 
          Mr. Bartender give me what you got I'm gonna drink my troubles away
I'm  really not the drankin kind... just one to ease my mind
            down in a hole now ... feelin' kind'a low now 
So Mr. Bartender please pour me a shot
         I wanna drown my troubles today
