I'Ll Crush Them For You

I can see them in your eyes
The voices that always mock you
The unseen hands that caused your
Tumble into the blue;
Come closer to me, my dear
Don't turn my love away
For I see them, your crushing pains,
And no matter what you say
In order to relieve my worry,
Forgive me, but I don't believe.
I see you everyday, dear heart,
And you always seem to grieve.
And you long for someone, anyone
To pull off that iron mask,
Then gaze into your troubled eyes
Deeply, lovingly and ask,
"How may I help you?"---
So why refuse my love?
Do you refuse to be betrayed:
Is that what you are afraid of?
Well, please, no more
For I tell you my intentions
Are impure and shady not,
But born of pure affections.
So please, accept my love,
And the help I offer too---
Tell me about your demons
And I'll crush them for you.
