You're tired little bluebird
I'll carry you awhile
As long as you would want me to
For mile after mile
Give me all your burdens
A pleasure it will be
To know I'm helping you to rest
Let go and lean on me
For you I have a special love
This kind of love runs deep
I'll tell you when your eyes are closed
When you are fast asleep
I'll whisper how much in your ear
Trace L-O-V-E over your heart
Behind your neck soft kisses
My lips will not depart
And when you take that morning stretch
And open up your eyes
A room filled up with lilacs
Will greet you at sunrise
I know how much you love them
What you love I love too
That's why I went and got them
