I'Ll Be There

At times life may hand us
some things that are trying,
and as we sigh, we wonder why, we need to cry

There may be moments
when people become unsure,
of what to say, they may look away, or just need to pray

There may be days
when you are down,
but look around,
I am here

You may feel some days
you can't go on,
but you move along, you do belong, you are so strong

Family and friends will surround you 
with their strength,
holding your hand, doing what they can, showing they understand

There will be days
again and again,
you'll reach for a friend...
and I'll be there
