I'Ll Always Write
Lifting hearts through the gifts You've given,
these lines that I've put down in pen.
Ever pointing the reader toward things of Heaven
is realized as I reach each poem's end.
What is it the reader takes away
from these lines that You've lovingly given ?
Are they enough to point the one Way
to the truth of Kingdom Living ?
That each word would be a ray of light;
a light house to that ship lost and alone.
That each word would be a welcome sight
like a compass that points the way home.
I'll always write as You tell me to,
why would I not want to bless ?
When I write, You are always in view
and in pleasing You, it is I find rest.
