Ignoring Is Bliss
I shall not be moved to respond
When hurts are hurled about,
‘Tis best not to waste my time
Or even raging, in anger shout,
For I shall hold my tongue, you see
And think of lovely things.
Best not to wallow in another’s slime
The happy heart always sings,
An unruly word is best unspoken
If all around you folks are bleating,
I have found that ignoring is bliss
Refrain from what’s not worth repeating.
