Ignorance Is (Was) Bliss

I know there are many exceptions that apply to this,
but the bottom line in this life of mine is Ignorance Is Bliss.
I'm not talking about negative ignorance such as that of a racist.
I'm talking about the ignorance that would allow me to pursue Happiness.
Surrounded by loved ones I never thought I could ever be any more happy,
but now all I see are loved ones who could possibly be taken away from me,
or I could be taken from them causing all of them misery.
Given all of the above, what's the point of me pursuing Happiness or Love
when death or similar loss will be the path I will eventually cross
and lose all that is dear to me.
I'm simply saying that I'm someone who could never ever truly be happy.
That's not to say that every day can't be joyful for me.
A beautiful landscape, natures wildlife or nature entirely.
Video-ography, Photography, My Love Of Poetry
I've these passions and others also to bring joy to me.
It's not so bad being alone so please do not pity me.
I do wish that one more time I could go back to that time when I was ignorantly bliss,
truly believing that truly one day I truly would attain true happiness,

I apologize if I depressed anyone who happened to be reading this.
Don't feel bad for me. I mean that sincerely. Don't waste time feeling depressed.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your wisdom through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
