Ignorance and Innocence

IGNORANCE AND INNOCENCE So long I waited patiently For you to say those words to me And after all these lonely years I almost can’t believe my ears Oh how the time has changed me My ability’s grown by great expanse Now I think you’d hear me sing If you would just give me the chance Just like I always seem to do Exercise brilliant ignorance But in a town I call my home We took each others innocence There’s just one thing I want to know Am I a nonentity? Or do I hold significance? Do you ever think of me?
