Ignition

I am open and ready to be filled up.
I have become the receptacle, the loving cup.
I am the outlet always there to receive the plug.
The cocoon transforming the butterfly from the slug.

I am the river bed through which deep water flows.
The channel bottomless as the frequency grows.
Having learned to no longer fear the dark,
shadows and phantoms have lost their spark.

All apparent monsters I recognize as my dearest friends.
After all, they are my greatest teachers in the end.
I confront my own intellectual process today;
I am ready to move into a higher, thoughtful way.

You learn more from your gremlins than from the good guys... sad but true! Excellent piece Margie!! Best wishes, Keith
