I want to set the world ablaze To let it rage and burn for days I want to see it all on fire And heave my failures on that pyre Just let it all burn down to ash Then perhaps we'll forget the past So maybe then can we be freed From all our haunted memories Let all that's old come to an end To let new life and hope begin For only when smoke fills the skies Bright will the reborn phoenix rise
