If You Want Love

If you want love, my dear, You must first be willing to give. Love is not a one-way street, But a journey that we take together. If you want love, my sweet, You must open up your heart. Let the walls around you crumble, And allow someone to see the real you. If you want love, my love, You must be patient and kind. Love is not a game to be won, But a dance that we learn over time. If you want love, my darling, You must be willing to take a chance. Risk the pain of a broken heart, And trust that love will lead you to romance. So if you want love, my dear, You must first be love yourself. For only when you love yourself, Can you truly give love to someone else.
