If You Tell Me

If you tell me to go away, I won`t do that.
I won't listen to that nonsense.
And my feet won't obey your silly words.
If you tell me to shut up, I'll keep silent.
But I won't hear your curses.
It's not you who will speak but your pride.
If you tell me to forget you, I won't do that.
I cannot forget the one who is in my blood,
The only one who possesses my heart,
The only one idiot who is able to make me happy.

Half this week has sped by and I have enjoyed reading many poems. Just have to love the diversity of the poets here even in the contests. I am so happy to have been able to read your poetry today Saniya. Have a wonderful day and may you find inspiration to write more along the way. Love, Carol
