If You Knew Then .....

If you knew then, what you know now.
You wouldn’t have treated me so harshly.
Now every holiday you beg to be in my company.
If you knew then, that I would be successful,
You would’ve been gracious,
To carry me under the threshold.
Now, you know, and we can’t go back in time.
If you knew then, what you know now.
You would’ve cherished the opportunity to be mine.
